I have newly installed smooth concrete floors. What’s the best type of heavy duty tape to use?

Hi Kate,

There are many types of heavy duty floor tapes on the market. What most people don't know is one size does NOT fit all. Congratulations are in order to you however as you based your question on the type of floor you have. That's the missing ingredient. Certain tapes are better for porous floors and some better for smooth. The best tape we've found for smooth floors is  viZ-Mark Heavy Duty Floor Tape. It's a low profile beveled edge floor tape that holds up well in aggressive environments.

It's also important to follow the installation instructions for all heavy duty tapes which usually includes tamping the tape with excessive weight.
