One of the most useful products for setting in order is aisle marking tape. Many people however have struggled with getting the tape to last for any length of time. I've found one of the major reasons this occurs is due to poor installation practices. Here are 3 Tips to geting your tape to last longer.

1. Many people just use a broom. That's insufficient. Mop or scrub the floors with an alcohol based cleaner.

2. Dry the surface real well

3. Tamp the tape with excessive weight. Many people just use their feet. Your feet, even those of use with flat feet, have an arch. Most of these tapes have pressure senstative adhesive which requires excessive weight to get the adhesives to adhere to the surface. We suggest using a tamper cart with added weight. If one is not available, I've used the rear wheel of a fork lift and driven slowly over the tape.

What other tips do you have for proper aisle marking tape success?

I look forward to your ideas.

Have a great day.
