If you ever bought a ticket to a live performance at a theatre or even a K.I.S.S. concert, then you’ve seen the second 5S method in action. When an actor is in the exact place they’re supposed to be, it’s called “hitting their mark.”

How about your facility? Is it “hitting the mark?”

The second 5S method, Set In Order, or Seiton, is all about arrangement and improving safety to make your workflow smooth and easy. Positioning your work stations in such a way that items are easy to locate.

There’s a logical order to work performed.

Are important items so well-organized that your team can access them quickly and easily when they need them? “Joe” might not think so.

Every facility has a Joe. He’s the one who has to hunt down the broom and dustpan when the floor needs attention because he cares. And nothing is more frustrating than looking for a particular item that isn’t where it’s supposed to be. It’s a lot easier to have one of our Tool Shadow Boards that keeps everything straight than hoping someone didn’t hide it behind their desk.

When it comes to tool the organization, we’ve got you covered. When it comes to the 5S Phase “Set in Order,” we’ll make sure you have what’s needed to keep Joe happy. Visit The5SStore.com today!
