Hi there  - I was at a clients site the other day. They had previously used a lot of duct tape on benches and floors.

Goo Gone has not worked on removing the residue and left over duct tape backing. Are you aware of anything that can solve this problem?

I so dislike that tape.

Small amounts of ketone acetone will do it. .  Be careful though.  That will eat through many textiles, paints and waxes.

Hi Robert - thanks for the response. We have since found a product called Rhoma-Sol which is designed to remove markings from asphalt but has been used by some to remove duct tape adhesive. I recently received a sample and am trying it myself. I'll be sure to update the forum with results.

Wd40 or any petroleum based spray would work.  Also have used Pam cooking spray.  Spray let it sit for 5 minutes and wipe off.  Blow dryer to warm the area helps also.
